On August 11, 2024 we held our 2nd 5DC Tournament at the Civic Pavilion, City Hall Plaza, Boston. This event was financed with a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture and was the final and fifth event in the 5DC Series.
The tournament consisted of 5 rounds, one game a round, with time controls of 10|5. We had 75 players, 29 of which were in the rated sections and 46 in the unrated sections. Rated and unrated sections were split in to 'Under 1200' and '1200 and UP' subsections.
Frank DelBonis from Ocean State Chess was the tournament director and Jamie Williams was the Tournament Assistant
