On May 16, 2024 we held our second quarterly blitz of 2024 with 24 players participating. The three 2000's took the top three spots. NM Ryan Young took first place (and a chess.com mug) with 10/10, followed by Sam (awarded a J.P. Chess mug) with 8/10 and then Zach with 7/10. The JP chess Star performer was Xavier finishing with 5/10. A lesson was awarded to Alex Myers with 4/10 given Xavier had previously won a lesson. There was some strange pairings in the final rounds with the SWIPS software and we may look to switch up the system at the next tournament.
